In early June 2021, after months of applying for dogs, I got a message back from a great shelter that our application for “Mr. Wiggles” as he was then known was successful. This was great timing as I finally had a lot of vacation time to look forward to. I worried that the dog wouldn’t work for us and lost sleep anxiously waiting to meet him. Then we met him and went for a walk, and he was perfect. My partner said to me during that walk, “Ok, I love him already” and all my worries melted away!
