In March 2020, my reading break vacation was cancelled due to COVID lockdown. Instead of flying to Mexico, my family went camping off the grid for a winter get away with the grandkids. Every other day, we would take a trip to town and connect to the internet. We were shocked over and over again by the increasingly grave news about world wide COVID cases. COVID pandemic had begun and out lives had all changed.
